The repair compound colors mix to all popular shades. The colored repair compound is applied into the damaged spot, covered with a grain texture paper, and the paper is heated with the special electric heat tool in your kit. When cool, the grain paper is peeled off, and the repair is finished.

hard to match color, then very hard to get it hot enough. an ok fix for a limit time but doesn't last long before the patch area begins to crumble.

It gets the patch to hot or not hot enough. I burnt my spot. It shouldn't even be offered as an option.
If you just apply the 300 degrees with an iron on the bad area only// you have good chance of success. This stuff does work.

It didn't work like it does on TV though my tear was in a curved area so applying heat was a challenge.

Got the stuff and the leather solution was switched with the fabric solution and caused a bigger tear. Seller wouldn't even give me a full refund for my loss. My suggestion, don't waste your time and money on this stuff...IT SUCKS!

I tried to use this on my couch cushion, and like other users I found it near impossible to match the color (beige) of my couch. I followed the directions very carefully and tried my hardest, but in the end I just ended up with a different colored rip that didn't stay together. Oh well! For the price, it was worth a try, but I really wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. Don't waste your money or your effort.
