Love 'em (2010-07-07) Rating: 5/5
After reading reviews from parents who use these for kids running around the neighborhood, I had to have a set. So far, they work great. My kids bike around up to a 1/2 mile (maybe more) away in a heavily wooded neighborhood and these walkies sound great. One thing that I should have considered (and you should too if you have more than one kid) is that you need two sets in order to give each kid a walkie and keep one at home base. I may order another set and tune them all to the same channel. Then each kid could have one, I'd have one, and there'd be an extra back up when one of the kids loses one (inevitable). I got these on a daily deal for, I think, $25. Excellent price.
Excelent (2010-05-21) Rating: 5/5
Great two way radios that make the communication easiest between 2 cars in a trip.... or even in a mountain camping... simply great...
Awesome walkie talkie (2010-05-09) Rating: 5/5
They work good. You can adjust the volume and hear them fine. Great for spy missions.
Do not waste your money (2010-05-07) Rating: 2/5
I purchased these in March this year. I live in heavily forested country. The range of these little radio's is just about 1 mile if the weather is good. I have not had the opportunity to try them over open water yet, but so far, I would say "do not waste your money" like I did!
Fulfil my needs. (2010-05-04) Rating: 4/5
Before I bought this product, I was thinking using it for mall visits with my wife (so I can wander while she does "clothing shopping")but we tested as a cell phone replacement (since we work in the same neighborhood), and she fell in love for the radio. I`m still exploring the limits of this gizmo. Very easy to configure.
